Two young Trumpeter Swans found serenity as they follow their mother amongst the water lily flowers in the Copper River Delta in the Chugach National Forest in Alaska, USA. The fluffy down is still very visible on the young Trumpeter Swans which will slowly change as they mature.
The male swan will help the female swan in raising the young Trumpeter Swans and these two will usually mate for their entire lives. The female swan is the sole incubator as she will sit on the eggs for approximately five weeks until the young chicks hatch.
