An aerial picture taken while flying near the town of McCarthy in Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Preserve in Alaska, USA of a waterfall dropping hundreds of feet over the mountain face. Between each crevasse, the water sneaks between the rocks to the ledge below and then continues on until it reaches the base of the mountain.
Many of the waterfalls in Wrangell St. Elias National Park turn to ice during the winter season causing curtains of ice for climbing. During the summer, this waterfall, and many others, flow freely down the mountain slopes.
