In the wilderness of Yellowstone National Park, a variety of animal species roam free, one being a coyote who stopped dead in his tracks to give us an evil glare. The coyotes in Yellowstone National Park are the largest found throughout the United States, some reaching 40 pounds in weight, and humans should never approach too near while visiting the park.
The brown fur coat blends in with the winter vegetation sprouting through the snow covered landscape as their long pointed ears and nose prominently stand out. The coyotes will either travel solo throughout the valleys in the park, or in packs where they are much more capable of killing larger prey.
