The scenery of the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park in the USA is beautiful as a sunrise highlights the winter landscape. The clouds are thinly dispersed across the sky which have become pinkish in color as the sun begins to rise.
The early morning hours at sunrise around the Lamar Valley is one of the best times of day to view wildlife crossing the winter landscape. Visitors should always scope out the area for grizzlies, bison, elk, osprey, bald eagles, antelopes, black bears, coyotes, cougar, sheep and wolves.
Wide open areas, beautiful sunrises, wildlife and surrounding mountains is what makes the Lamar Valley picturesque and magical, especially when the winter weather has blanketed the landscape. The valley is situated in the northeast corner of Yellowstone National Park of Wyoming, USA and each sunrise is breathtaking, more so when the clouds are highlighted as well.
