A pedestrian bridge spans a narrow gorge in the wilderness of the Chugach National Forest in the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, USA where white water rafters fight the rapids of Six Mile Creek below. The rafters are dressed in appropriate clothing and life jackets as they work their way around each jagged rock cliff which are draped in rainforest growth.
Three different canyons are present along Six Mile Creek, some being extremely difficult and only suggested for experienced white water rafters. Before each rafting trip leaves, a paddler's practice swim is done to ensure the safety of all passengers while fighting the rapids along Six Mile Creek.
