A small sea bird is a Whiskered Auklet who resides around the Aleutian Islands and on some of the islands around Siberia where they breed and live year round. The Whiskered Auklet is a nocturnal bird which feels its way around and back to their nests at night by using its long whiskers. This adult bird clings to the green vegetation beside a large rock on the Aleutian Islands.
An adult Whiskered Auklet is black in color with black crests coming from its forehead and three white plumes adorning its face. Its bill is red in colour with the tip being a much paler shade.
