In the summer sunshine in Cordova, Alaska, a couple of tourists enjoy the wilderness scenery while relaxing on the shores of Double Bay. A fishing boat is moored close to shore for the fisherman staying at this remote location in the Chugach National Forest.

The beach views along the Prince William Sound are spectacular with the snow covered mountain peaks towering above the tree line. Double Bay is located on Hinchinbrook Island and the only way in to this remote area is by boat or plane but the tidal lagoon gives way to rolling hills, so precautions must be taken.
