The Iditarod Sled Dog Race which takes place yearly in Alaska, USA is one which can totally exhaust the mushers as well as the sled dogs. A man named Charlie Boulding is a dog musher who appears extremely tired while racing in the 2005 Iditarod race and needs to regroup and take a break on this trail, just 20 miles east of Nikolai.
Many people loved watching Charlie Boulding race in the Iditarod, but as tired as these mushers get, one must finally give up the thrill of the race and continue on with their own family life. During his career as a musher, he has won the Yukon Quest twice, the Kusko 300 twice, the Klondike 300 once and competed in many Iditarod races, often being within the top ten and once finishing third.
While living in Alaska, USA, Charlie Boulding and his family still use the sled dogs as a form of transportation and love the wilderness of Alaska. A man many loved and respected who has inspired tons of people over the years but even the best of sled dog mushers get tired while partaking in the Iditarod.
