The town of Talkeetna in South Denali Park in Alaska, USA is situated about 115 miles or a 2.5 hour drive north of Anchorage where a small community of approximately 500 residents reside. The wooden welcome sign to the downtown area of town is an original created with a few pieces of wood and white paint.
In the downtown area, historic buildings which were constructed in the 1920's still show off their beauty and some of them are used for local businesses.
