The Spirit of Columbia offers four or three night accommodations while traveling Prince William Sound on a glacier excursion. Here the cruise ship passes by the coastal cliffs where two waterfalls cascade from great heights as members of a Kittiwake colony soar around the ship.
Departing from Whittier, Alaska on Day 1, the Spirit of Columbia travels Prince William Sound to areas rarely seen. Day 2 consists of glacier viewing and otter watching in Esther Passage with the continuation of Day 3 stopping in Cordova, Alaska. The fourth day cruises the southwest end of Prince William Sound with the last day passing by this kittiwake colony on route back to Whittier, Alaska.
The Spirit of Columbia holds a maximum of 78 passengers on a ship ideally built to be able to maneuver through narrow channels and find secluded coves to anchor in.
