Two Steller Sea Lions spend some time fighting amongst themselves along the coast of Sail Island in Alaska, USA.

It is not uncommon to see Steller Sea Lions fighting amongst themselves especially during breeding season around Sail Island in Alaska, USA. The Steller Sea Lions around Alaska, USA are the largest of the eared seals and to see them fighting with each other is quite a sight.

These Sea Lions have a very aggressive nature about them as they are very territorial and will often fight for their mates. One Sea Lion grips his teeth around the other ones neck, which seems to be yelping in pain, but the fight will continue for some time until either one backs off.
