As a pair of Red Fox in Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, USA ensure there is nothing attached to the end of the deer antler, one seems quite satisfied while the other continues on his quest. The Red Fox has triangular shaped black ears and a shaggy coat of rusty brown or reddish-brown fur, sometimes varying to a pale yellowish hue. Their legs are very short which makes the red fox an extremely fast and agile runner, able to reach speeds up to 48 kilometers per hour.
As curious as this pair is, they are considered to be very alert animals with extraordinary hearing, smell and sight. Red Foxes eat rodents, some rabbits, insects and fruit and often the decaying meat on dead animals.
