As visitors wander through Pioneer Park in Fairbanks, Alaska, a 44 acre historic theme park, the trees begin to change color and drop their leaves in the autumn, but the flowers outside a log cabin still bloom in an assortment of hues. There are a total of 29 cabins in Pioneer Park which were transferred here to form the Gold Rush Town, each one have their own legends covering their history.
Pioneer Park is a community park which is open 24 hours a day with the specialty shops, restaurants, carousels, railroads and the log cabins only being open during the summer season. Early Autumn is one of the prettiest times to visit Pioneer Park with changing trees and flowers still blossoming, but the events during the summer are endless as tourists fill the park.
