Picnic Table Snow Seward Alaska Winter

Each picnic table in Seward, Alaska becomes buried in snow during the winter and will probably not be fully seen again until spring.

The city of Seward, Alaska in the USA, usually starts to receive a small accumulation of snow in November and slowly starts to fade away in April or May. Once winter settles in, the months of December through to March can bring regular snowfalls but the average amount which blankets the ground on a daily basis is usually about 4 to 7 inches.

Picnic lunches are not a common event during winter in Seward, as you can see the picnic tables become buried in snow. After a recent snowfall, each picnic table has close to a foot of snow on it which has yet to be touched by any people or wildlife.
