The route up the West Buttress on Mt. McKinley in Denali National Park in Alaska, USA is one of the most used by mountain climbers. This is one of the easier routes up Mt. McKinley and even that can be underestimated at times due to the sudden change in climate and weather conditions which can sweep through the area.
Tents have been set up on the cold landscape where the mountain climbers rest for the night so they are able to face whatever morning brings in the wilderness of Mt McKinley. These mountain climbers have set up camp at 16,030 feet which means they are over three quarters of the way up to the summit of Mt. McKinley.
