An aerial view of Mount Blackburn in Wrangell Saint Elias National Park and Preserve in Alaska, USA, the highest peak in the Wrangell Mountains. A large peak which rises to a height of 16,390 feet with the west face dropping off to the Kuskulana Glacier.
Mount Blackburn has two summits, one on the western side, this being the mountain's highest point and the other on the eastern side, which was once thought to be the highest. After a couple of ascents up Mount Blackburn, it became a fact that the western summit is the highest.
