As the Fall foliage decorates the landscape in Denali National Park in Alaska, USA, a moose spends some quiet time eating the twigs, leaves and shrubs. He is very aware of the photographer nearby and keeps a close watch for any unusual movements.
During the summer and fall, a moose will be found eating the foliage consuming approximately twenty-five kilograms a day. In the winter, their total food consumption is about fifteen to twenty kilograms a day, as long as their is plenty of food left throughout the area.
