The Copper River gently flows beneath the Million Dollar Bridge which crosses over the Copper River in the Chugach National Forest in Alaska, USA as the clouds gently drift by. Between the scattered clouds, blue sky peeks through creating a beautiful reflection across the surface of the river.
The Million Dollar Bridge was originally built in 1908 by the Copper River and Northwestern Railroad Company and was changed to a highway bridge in 1958. A massive earthquake hit the area in 1964 causing major damage to the bridge and from 1973 to 1975 the bridge was being repaired and was soon reopened again for vehicles.
