After a bull moose has charged through a pond in Katmai National Park in Alaska, USA, he shakes himself free of all excess water. A moose is very prone to cold winter months but during the hotter days in summer and autumn, a moose can suffer and so they like to cool off in any type of pond or lake.
The water sprays off either side of the bull moose as his massive antlers sit atop of his head which are used during rutting season. These antlers will lighten the load for this bull moose sometime in November when they fall off and will not start to grow again until the following summer, ready for rutting season in Autumn.
