The fog hanging over the Brooks Range in Alaska, USA starts to lift allowing the calm waters of Iniakuk Lake to appear where a DeHavilland Beaver floatplane remains idle along the shore. The DeHavilland Beaver is a single engined, propeller-driven aircraft often referred to as a bush plane used to carry cargo and passengers into the wilderness region of Iniakuk Lake.
One of the only ways into Iniakuk Lake is by floatplane where people can enjoy the tranquility of the remote wilderness as no roads or phones are accessible here. The scenery around the lake is pristine which is located at the southern end of the Brooks Range, 60 miles north of the Arctic Circle.
