The first national Park in the USA is Yellowstone National Park which has been established since 1872, where a variety of wildlife lives such as the grizzly bear, wolf, bison, lynx, moose, deer, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, mountain lion and elk. As vehicles drive along the road in Yellowstone National Park, a mother Grizzly Bear and her cub pay no attention to their surroundings as they peacefully take their time crossing the road.

In the ecosystem of the Greater Yellowstone area, approximately 400 - 600 grizzly bears live amongst the wilderness, an animal considered to be a threatened species which is slowly starting to make a come back in the Yellowstone region. While visiting Yellowstone National Park, the best areas for viewing a grizzly bear is around Mount Washburn, Hayden Vally or near the fishing bridge.
