The flowers on the Dwarf Fireweed come to life as summer arrives in the Chugach National Forest in Alaska, USA, decorating the base of the thick glacier ice on the Coxe Glacier. Between the crevasses on the rocks, the plant easily emerges until the flowers are ready to bloom and decorate the landscape.
When flowers can grow around the cold slopes of a glacier, it is safe to assume that they can grow almost anywhere. Chugach National Forest in Alaska, USA is home to many species of flowers and plant life, but the Dwarf Fireweed is extremely pretty against the glacier backdrop.
