Dwarf Fireweed is a very colorful plant which grows across the landscape in the Portage Valley in Alaska, USA and once people see this beautiful flower blossom, many try to grow their own. The Dwarf Fireweed is usually found in clearings, areas which have been burnt by a forest fire or along the roadsides. Growing to about six inches in height, Dwarf Fireweed can spread quite rapidly eventually blanketing a vast area of the Portage Valley.
