Beach camping is at its best along Barry Arm in Prince William Sound, Alaska after a storm has swept through the area leaving the skies adorned with a rainbow and a bluer looking sky. The rain clouds are still hovering over the forest where the rainbow appears, but the hopes of a brighter day looks promising.
As these backpackers leave their camping tents set up, the beach of Barry Arm and the surrounding wilderness has plenty of places to explore while resting for a day or two. With nobody in sight for miles, the solitude at the beach at Barry Arm is amazing, but sometimes it can seem a little eerie for some who are not used to this much peace.
