A unique log chapel built in 1958 brings out thousands of tourists every year to view this beautiful church which sits on the shores of Auke Lake in Juneau, Alaska. The backdrop is adorned by the snow covered mountain peaks and the wilderness of Alaska.

The congregation still meets at this chapel at three Sunday services but visitors are welcome to view the beautiful interior of this chapel anytime. On the campus of the Chapel by the Lake, people will also find a main sanctuary, a fellowship hall, an education area and a living quarter for the pastor and his family.
