This climber is ascending the mountain slope above the 12,500 foot mark of Mt. McKinley. The fog is starting to lift which will give way to the blue sky that awaits.

Mt. McKinley sits at a height of 20,320 feet leaving this mountain climber a long way to go before he reaches the summit. Each slope is a challenge and approximately fifty percent of the climbers who attempt the West Buttress have made it to the summit.
