A photographer has his equipment set up capturing pictures of the coastal wetlands in the wilderness of Alaska, USA, but while doing this, an Arctic Tern also decides to check out the situation. The Arctic Tern perches atop the photographer's hat, a medium sized seabird belonging to the tern family Sternidae.
Its grey and white plumage creates an outline for their black nape and bright red beak which is the length of its head. The Arctic Tern is commonly seen around the coastal wetlands but they are very well known for their migration where they travel 12,000 miles to one destination.
