Golden colours explode from the Autumn tundra on the North side of Brooks Range in Alaska, USA as an Arctic Fox runs free in the wilderness. Its coat of fur blends in beautifully with the Autumn colors which slowly begins to change from grayish brown to white as winter approaches the Arctic.
The Arctic Fox is an animal who resides mostly in the Arctic Circle where they build dens or burrows in a hill, cliff or riverbank for shelter. The Arctic Fox does not hibernate and will search out voles, lemming, hares, ground squirrels, birds and their eggs, shellfish, sea urchins and small coastal animals as food sources. During the winter, any leftovers from Polar Bears, such as dead seals, fish or whales will also satisfy the Arctic Fox.
