The dog sled teams are transferred to the start of the Iditarod in Anchorage, Alaska in the USA by a truck kennel where they await the long journey ahead. Two of the sled dogs become aggressive towards each other and show their growls and sharp teeth.

The teams are made up of between 12 to 16 sled dogs which are mixed breeds of huskies and are trained individually by their owners. The owners work on their speed, toughness, endurance and try to avoid any aggressive behaviour as they must work as a team during the Iditarod while crossing frozen rivers, barren tundra, steep mountains, snow and ice covered landscape in the extremely cold temperatures.

There are four positions amongst a team, one being the lead dogs, next the swing dogs, then the team dogs and finally the wheel dogs. Once these two are released from their kennel, they will be prepared for their trek and the aggressiveness will be placed elsewhere.

Most of the dog sleds work well together and have been well rested and cared for before this 1,150 mile race but just like humans, the dogs will show some aggressive moods.
